Carrots with bacon


  • 420g. Baby Carrot «Carrot»
  • 2 large sweet onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 300g of bacon
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Chives for decoration


In a large dripping pan, fry onion in olive oil over medium heat for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown, stirring frequently. Add to the onions in the pan, carrots, salt and pepper. Fry everything for about 5 minutes.

Bacon cut into small strips and fry gently in a pan.

The heat-resistant glass or porcelain dishes, to shift the carrot, onion and bacon.

Melt the butter and mix it with maple syrup. The prepared mixture, add the vegetables and bacon. Add the chopped garlic. Cover and bake in the oven at 400°C for 40-45 minutes or until tender. Cooked dish can sprinkle with chopped green onions.
