Carrot with brussels sprouts Baby Boom


  • 420g. Baby carrot Carrot
  • 400g of Brussels sprouts
  • 1 l. chicken broth
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste


Carrots in boiling broth boil for about 4 minutes over medium heat. Then carrot shift using slotted spoon in cold water. In the boiling broth add the brussels sprouts and boil about 5 minutes. With a slotted spoon shift the cabbage in cold water. Once the vegetables are cool, drain and put them in the refrigerator.

Bring butter and brown sugar to a boil in a large skillet, stirring constantly and not letting burnt. Sugar should be completely dissolved. It boiled until until the mixture does not boil down to half. Then add the carrots, saute for about 6 minutes, then add the brusselssprouts and pepper and salt to taste, another 5 minutes and you can bring to the table.
